Hello! I'm Kimberly Babin, the founder of Upward Career Strategies. My journey to becoming a Career Strategist has been anything but linear, filled with twists and turns that have shaped my unique approach.
I began my career in various administrative roles within the cutthroat Oil and Gas Sector and later transitioned to marketing for a DuPont Distributor, which was both fun and demanding. For the past 25 years, I have thrived in medical education at McMaster University, working across the School of Nursing and the Department of Pediatrics. These years have been the most formative, as I had the privilege and pleasure of mentoring many students and colleagues through their career and education exploration.

In the midst of this journey, I planted my feet firmly in a Career and Student Advising program at the University of Calgary, where I earned a formal designation and certification. This solidified my passion and expertise in guiding others.
